Hale's Landscaping is a family owned and operated landscaping company. Our company was built on hard work, reliability and is committed to providing the highest quality service possible.

We have been working to enhance the natural beauty of our clients' homes and outdoor living spaces since 1995. When you work with us, you will get the very personalized experience of working directly with us (owners Steve and John Hale) from start to finish.

From the design to installation and construction, we will be there to work with you to ensure the most appropriate and beautiful outcome possible. We have an extensive background and knowledge in species selection to ensure your plants, shrubs and trees flourish in their intended environment. We oversee every aspect of each project and we're right in there making sure the job gets done with the highest level of precision and craftsmanship.

We are both Maine Certified Landscape Professionals, and we are members of the Maine Landscape & Nursery Association (MELNA). With our many certifications and extensive knowledge in horticulture, we are able to to design and install beautiful, environmentally suitable landscapes.

We use only the highest quality products, and practice an environmentally sound landscape program. This program is called Integrated Pest Management or (IPM). IPM is preventive maintenance for your lawn and landscape. Just as good nutrition and exercise are beneficial to your health, IPM is beneficial to your landscape. On our services page you will find a list of the practices we follow and the information on why we use them.

Our company also believes in supporting and giving back to the community. That is why we make annual donations to youth sports programs.

From small residential paths, patios and verandas to large-scale hardscaping, stonewalls, and creative sculptural elements, we can accommodate the needs of just about any project. We are very passionate about landscaping and ornamental horticulture and guarantee to make your landscape the masterpiece it deserves to be.
