Salmon Falls
This was truly a start to finish, or from foundation to finish project. We tore down the existing house and removed the foundation to make way for the customer's new house. We then excavated the new cellar hole, installed a drainage system around the foundation and under the basement floor, set all grades and installed the septic system.

After the home was built, we were back on site to install the landscape. The customers have an active, outdoor lifestyle with lots of family and friends. They wanted a space where all could gather where they could entertain or just relax.

They also had two other requests, and outside pizza oven and clambake area. Keeping all that in mind, we designed a landscape to fit their needs. Connected to the house is a bluestone patio. On the edge of this patio is an outside stone entertainment system. Old Maine fieldstone with bluestone accents were used to build this beautiful work of art. Inside of what looks like a fieldstone fireplace is actually a pizza oven. Connected to this is a bluestone counter top which acts as a food preparation area, or the bar. Connected to the bar is a clambake pit slash outside fireplace.

All of this is surrounded by beautiful ornamental grasses, evergreens and perennials. The rest of the property includes a retaining wall consisting of large moss and lichen covered boulders, a bluestone walkway to match the patio and a number of trees, shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses to match the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
